Installing Adobe Acrobat Pro
When a user is set up with an Adobe Acrobat Pro license, they create an Adobe account. To get them set up with "pro" tools in Adobe Acrobat, you can sign into their current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and it will
automatically start downloading the required modules to get the "pro" tools working. However, this automatic process fails more often than not. The best option is to completely reinstall it from the Adobe website.
When the user is signed in with their "pro" account on the website, it will automatically include the "pro" tools in the install. The following article describes the steps required to perform this installation.
Steps for Installation:
1. When an Adobe Acrobat admin sets a user up with an Adobe Acrobat Pro license, the user will receive an email. Click on the link provided in the email, and you will be directed to an account creation page.
Set the password to: Meadow,street26
Set the birthday to: January 2000

2. Once the profile is set up and you are at the Adobe home page, Click the pictured symbol at the top right, and select "Acrobat".

3. On the "Acrobat" page, select "Get your apps" at the top right, navigate to "Adobe Acrobat Pro", then click "Download". You will see "Acrobat_Set-Up.exe" appear in your downloads folder. Do NOT install this until completion of step 4.

4. BEFORE you run the installer, navigate to the Control Panel and uninstall the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that was installed by Intune.

5. After uninstalling the version installed by Intune, navigate to the Downloads folder and run the installer.

6. When you run the installer, it will prompt you with a couple of survey questions. Click "Skip" on them. You may also need to verify the user's email. After that, you should see the following screen.
The installation process takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

7. After it is installed, open Adobe Acrobat. You should see that they are signed in at the top right. Verify they have all of the "pro" tools be clicking "See all tools".

IF INTUNE INSTALLS ITS VERSION OF ADOBE ACROBAT BEFORE YOUR INSTALLATION FINISHES:
Search for "services.msc" in the search bar and run as administrator. Look for "Microsoft Intune Management Extension" and select "Stop". Be sure to start it again after Adobe Acrobat Pro has been installed.
