Changing Admin Password Remotely
Some Administrative settings can only be changed on the physical screen of a Konica Minolta MFP. An example of one of these settings is changing the Admin password of a Konica Minolta MFP. Luckily, there is a way you can simulate the Konica Minolta MFP screen so that you may still access these settings remotely. Below are the steps on how to access this page, and how to change the Admin password remotely from this page:
1. Upon Connecting to an MFP, press "Logout" at the top right of the page to access the login page.

2. Change "User Type" to Administrator and enter in the current Administrator password.

3. Once you are logged in, type "remote" in the "Function Search" box and click "Search".

4. Multiple items will pop up. Click on the one that says "Remote Panel Server Settings"

5. On the Remote Panel Server Settings page, enable the setting named "Server Settings". Note that the "Port No.(SSL)" is set to 50443 by default. Leave the port number at the default value of 50433. Do not change any other settings on this page. Click "OK".

6. Navigate to the url: https://192.168.x.x:50443/panel/top.html - replacing the x's with the address of the printer you want to connect to. I used the Fayetteville copier with the IP of 192.168.7.200 for this example, so I entered in: https://192.168.7.200:50443/panel/top.html
You should arrive at a page that says "Your connection is not private". Click on "Advanced", and then click on "Proceed to 192.168.x.x (unsafe)".

7. You will arrive to a page that looks like this. Click on "Unlock".

8. You are now connected to a page simulating what you see on the physical screen of a Konica Minolta MFP. To change the Admin password, click on "Utility".

9. Click on "Administrator".

10. Enter in the current Administrator password.

11. Select "Security" in the pane to the left.

12. Select the "Administrator Password Setting" option.

13. Click the check box labeled "Password is changed". Enter in the current Admin password and the one you are going to set it to in the respective boxes. Note that an on-screen keyboard will pop up for you to type this info in. Click on "OK". You will get a notification letting you know that it is completed. The check box will uncheck and the text boxes will clear as shown in the picture in step 14.

14. ***IMPORTANT*** Be sure to press exit at the top right after the password change is completed or the admin will stay logged in. The administrator password is now changed.
