How to add a Konica Minolta printer using ScreenConnect (automatic)
If the computer that you want to install the driver on is physically located in the same CHS office as the copier, you may be able to do an automatic install with the network search function built-in to the driver installer.
Example: The user is located in their office in the Lucas building and you are wanting to install the "Lucas 1st FL Copier" copier.
To do this, perform the following steps:
1. Navigate to the Toolbox within the ScreenConnect client, Select the folder named "Konica Minolta Drivers", and open the folder for the desired copier. In the folder there should be an exe file. In this case I am installing the Lucas 1st floor copier driver.

2. Click the executable file and it will begin copying and processing. Once that is complete you will get a prompt to extract. Click "Extract" and file and it will begin extracting.

3. Once the Extraction is complete navigate to C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\ConnectWise for Children's Home Society\Temp\KM_UniversalDriver_PCL_3.9.525.500_EIT100_WHQL and run UPDSetup64 assuming that it is a 64-bit machine. The KM_UniversalDriver_PCL_3.9.525.500_EIT100_WHQL folder may have a different name depending on what driver you are trying to install.
4. Upon running the UPDSetup64 application, agree to the License Agreement terms. You will then arrive at the screen below. Click "Install (Network Search)".
5. Select the printer that you want to install. Verify that it is the correct printer by expanding the "Port" column and checking the IP address. Click on the desired printer and click "Next".
6. Click "Install", and then click "OK" once the installation has completed successfully.

7. You should now see the desired Konica Minolta printer in the "Printers & scanners" section in Windows settings. Be sure to rename the printer so that the user can tell the different printers apart if they have multiple installed. Click on it and select "Print test page" to verify that the installation was successful.

How to add a Konica Minolta printer using ScreenConnect (Manual)
If the computer that you want to install the driver on is NOT physically located in the same CHS office as the copier, you will have to manually install the driver from the Windows Control Panel.
Example: The computer is being set up in the Lucas building by an IT employee and the computer needs to have the Raleigh Copier installed.
To do this, perform the following steps: (steps 1 & 2 are the same as the automatic install)
1. Navigate to the Toolbox within the ScreenConnect client, Select the folder named "Konica Minolta Drivers", and open the folder for the desired copier. In the folder there should be an exe file.

2. Click the executable file and it will begin copying and processing. Once that is complete you will get a prompt to extract. Click "Extract" and file and it will begin extracting.

3. Navigate to "Hardware and Sound" in Windows Control Panel. Right-Click "Devices and Printers" and select "Open in new window".

4. Select "Add a printer" at the top of the page and then select "The printer that I want isn't listed" in the window that pops up.

5. Select "Add a printer using an IP address or hostname" and then click "Next".

6. Change the "Device type:" to "TCP/IP Device". Enter in the IP address for the copier in "Hostname or IP address:" and ensure that the same IP is entered into "Port name:". Uncheck the box for "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use". In this example I am going to install the Raleigh Copier. Click "Next".

7. In the next window, select the button that says "Have Disk..."

8. Click the button that says "Browse..." on the next window that pops up. Navigate to the "Win_x64" folder pictured below. This was extracted in step 2.

9. Within the "Win_x64" folder is an .inf file named "KOAX4J__". Select it and then click "Open".

10. Once you click "Open" you should notice that the directory in the "Copy manufacturer's files from:" section has changed. Click "OK".

11. Next you will be brought to this page. Select "KONICA MINOLTA Universal PCL v3.9.5" and then click "Next".

12. Name the copier. In this case I am installing the "Raleigh Copier". Click "Next".

13. You will now see the copier in the "Devices and Printers" section of the Windows Control Panel. If possible, print a test page to ensure functionality.
